EVA+ Energy is a cloud-based DCS application that collects data from metering devices, validates it using flexible rules, and makes it available for easy consultation and analysis. It can also automatically process this data using predefined procedures, such as monitoring thresholds, sending scheduled reports, enabling remote control, and transferring consumption data to energy billing systems, allowing paying energy data on real consumption and not on estimated values.
The EVA+ Energy technology is enabling for creating a railway IoT (Internet of Things). With EVA+ Energy, the energy data collection is no longer limited to on-board train energy meters alone, but can be seamlessly extended to trackside devices, such as energy meters in railway substations.
With its real-time energy data capabilities, EVA+ Energy supports powerful tracking, diagnostic and alerting functions. All data received are automatically analysed and, as soon as conditions that require attention are detected, alerts are sent to the persons in charge. EVA+ Energy also facilitates the management of energy measurement devices. In a single website, available immediately, it is possible to access the device documentation (manuals, test reports, installation reports), upload or download the device configuration, consult or update the operating environment (organisations, fleets, trains, meters, drivers, etc.), analyse energy data (consumption, regeneration, etc.) and retrieve recorded events (billing operations, validation results, warning messages, etc.).
