The TVM/38-E is a transformer suitable to measure catenary voltages on railway lines. It operates at AC voltages 15 kV (16.7 Hz) and/or 25 kV (50 Hz or 60 Hz).
It is an outdoor device, with protection degree IP67, to be installed on the roof of railway traction vehicles.
This device provides two analog outputs from two independent internal windings to be used for traction as well as for energy measurement. Accuracy for the energy measurement winding is 0.5 R, as required from the EN50463:2017 norm.
TVM is sold as a stand-alone device for rooftop installation by car builders and railway undertakings. It can also be provided as part of Sécheron Hasler Group’s comprehensive Energy Management System, which also includes the REM102 Energy Meter, DC indoor and outdoor sensors like Jedy and DMeter, and the energy Portal, a powerful DCS.
All of our products are backed by HaslerRail experts, who provide recommendations and support throughout the project lifecycle, and Sécheron Hasler Group’s worldwide network of service locations for assistance throughout the product lifetime.
