iTEMS-ECF is Sécheron Hasler Group’s integrated DC voltage and current sensor for rail vehicles. It is used indoors for voltage detection, traction control, and energy measurement on systems ranging from 600 VDC to 3,000 VDC. It is designed specifically for distributed traction architectures and is available in a variety of configurations to implement different combinations of the Voltage Measurement Function (VMF) and Current Measurement Function (CMF). If both the current and voltage interfaces are present, iTEMS can deliver the Energy Calculation Function (ECF). The measured and calculated values are securely and accurately transmitted to various on-board equipment via a traditional analog interface or a serial communication bus.

iTEMS-ECF can be delivered as a stand-alone device for installation by car builders and operators. It can also be integrated into Sécheron Hasler Group’s MODBOX® enclosures, or with Sécheron Hasler Group’s comprehensive Energy Management System, which also includes the REM102 Energy Meter with DHS and DCS.
