Speed Measuring and Data Acquisition System

Almost half of the world’s locomotives operate in Europe. It is therefore not too surprising that Europe leads the way in defining new requirements and standards and, moreover, is able to implement them internationally.

Therefore, a modern data acquisition and recording system is also needed. The first Hasler® recorder – the Haushälter type – was developed and produced in 1887. Constant development and adaptation to meet both market and customer demand led to the current Hasler® system.

Besides the basic functions of data acquisition and recording demanded by legal standards, modern systems are also able to carry our safety related functions like automatic vigilance (DSD, SIFA), rollback protection, etc.
