In order to consolidate its position as world-leader in supplying ETCS-JRU products and solutions, HaslerRail has acquired the "rail" sector of Corrsys 3D - a company based in Wetzlar (Germany), a town well-known for its high-class optics industry.
 
The new part of HaslerRail AG is called CORRail GmbH and will continue its activities in the rail measuring business for testing purposes.
 
However, HaslerRail AG sees another opportunity for the so-called "CORRail-Sensor" - since this highly reliable optical sensor is much less susceptive to disturbances caused e.g. by metal objects, snow or dust than the Radar-based systems are, HaslerRail AG will introduce the product to the ETCS-market.
